Amydrium humile (Very rare aroid!)
This product is sold out
A very rare yet understatedly beautiful (it'll grow on you, pun intended!) member of the Araceae family that is native Southeast Asia. It has medium to large heart shaped, somewhat fleshy leaves that are matte green. In the wild this beauty doesn't really climb like many of it's relo's but trailes along the forest floor. Surprisingly, despite it's rarity this plant is very easy to care for!
Wait until the top 2-3cm centimetres of soil in the pot has dried out before giving it a good drink.
Bright indirect light and a humid position is great for these guys. They are pretty tolerant of cooler temperatures but like most tropical and subtropical plants it won't handle frost.
Currently about 20cm tall and 40cm wide with leaves that are approximately 10cm across.
They come in an approximately 140mm pot (plastic pot sizes vary slightly to suit each ceramic pot, all plants are the same size as plants of the same species ragardless of slight variations in pot size!)
